I was just registering for the upcoming New Haven Road Race and saw that Cindy's foundation is
one of the donor recipients, which led me back to this website that I looked at last year. I knew
Cindy from Westport and she was like a little sister to me.
The foundation is such a special way to keep her memory alive. I'll run for Cindy in New Haven.

I can't believe it has been a year since Cindy's passing. I really miss my friend :( At
least once a wk walking through the streets of NYC i think I see her and every ride i do in New
Jersey I cant help but to think of what happened to her. May your memory stay alive forever in

I was just thinking about Cindy yesterday, and that I hadnt seen her or talked to her since last
year about St. Anthonys Triathlon. That tri is tomorrow and I JUST heard of this tragedy today.
She was/is one of my largest role models who started me in personal training and gave me the
inspiration I needed to become a better trainer and more confident person. She will without a doubt
be missed, but never forgotten.

Cindy is especially on my mind this week. It still seems surreal that someone so full of life and
vigor is no longer with us on earth. But she is definitely here in spirit...she still inspires me
every day to best the best that I can be. I will always be grateful to her for touching my life as
she did.
